1979 - 83 Studied at the Bristish School of Osteopathy (BSO). Special interest Nutrition and Dietics with James Lambert Mount, consultant at the London Homeaopthic Hospital and founder of the McCarrison Society.
1982 Member of Society of Students of Holistic Health, founded by Thomas Attlee at the Institute of Complementary Therapy, and aiming to increase communiation between health practitioners. Qualified in Touch for Health incorporating muscle energy testing (or Applied Kinesiology), at the Institute of Complementary Therapy.
1983 Qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO).
1983 & 1984 studied cranial osteopathy as post graduate courses at the BSO with Professor Rollin Becker.
1983 onwards, set up practice in the surgery of Dr.Siva in Greenwich, incorporating 4 osteopaths and a homeopath.
1989 onwards. Learned child care (the practical way), and began long association with independent midwives, speaking at their ante natal classes, and conferring on mums and new borns.
1990-1995 "Attending and advising" on musculo-skeletal matters, in the clinic of the College of Homeopathy in Lewisham, (where a certain amount of 1st aid homeopathy began to be absorbed during clinical observation and case consultations around shared clients). Invited to observe clinic with acupuncturists Nick Sofroniou and Diane Wicker.
1991-1992 CCST 2 year part time course on Cranio-Sacral treatment. Specialisn; Treatment of babies.
1992-1994 Tutoring on 1st and 2nd year CCST cranio-sacral courses.
1994 set up Greenwich Natural Health Centre Ltd., and now co-direct it with Patricia Truman de Reimers.
1995 Built on previous experience as a food scientist with herbal and nutritional studies.
1996 CCST course on the Cranio-sacral approach to the heart fascias.
2000 Shiatsu Foundation course with Shan McCanliss of the London College of Shiatsu.
2001 studied Reiki levels l and ll.
2002 at the request of Dr.Massey, also started seeing patients in my home Mottingham, with the kind permission of London & Quadrant Housing Association.
2004 studied Dry Needling at Royal Homeopathic Hospital. Attending lectures at Acumedic (Camden), college of acupuncture.
2005 Residential course in Yoga.
2006 Residentail course in Pilates.
2006 & 2007 Trauma studies with College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CCST) Seminar training in the understanding and use of herbal combination and food supplements.
2007 – 2009 Bromley Autistic Trust . 16 week courses on Communication and Working With People on the Autistic and Asperger Spectrum.
2008 studying interaction of dental and cranial treatments at CCST. Guest lecturer at Greenwich University on Effect and Management of Stress and Trauma on body health.
2009 studied Eeman technique and influence on the Autonomic Nervous System, at the Maidstone School of Osteopathy. Residential Permaculture and Nutrition course: Permaculture Association of Great Britain. Autogenic Training course at the Lewisham College.
2010 CCST course on Diaphragms and Somato-emotional release.
My approach to health is through the whole body, incorporating whatever I feel may help, and giving treatments gentle enough for all ages to benefit.
